WHAT’S HERE
The permanent displays at The Centre offer a fascinating insight into the life and work of the Renowned Barton-based author Ted Lewis. His crime fiction writing is believed to have defined the birth of contemporary British Noir.

We hold a good selection of Lewis’s translated literature, art and anecdotes. Our developing standing exhibition is open each Sunday from 10:00 to 16:00 as well as most bank Holidays and Heritage Open Days. Ted Lewis novels, biographies and artefacts are on sale.
Masks must be worn and social distancing observed. No children under 14 allowed, under 16 accompanied by a responsible adult.
